About 4x4 dna

David DASH: In 2014 whilst owning a series 1 Y62 Patrol, I searched (actually interviewed) for a mechanic who I could trust to work on my beloved 4WD knowing that I would need some special attention.

Steve Allan convinced me he had an eye for detail and would spend the time needed to service, maintain, and build a Y62 to my satisfaction. As time went on and DASH OffRoad became a one stop shop for all things Y62 part related, it was inevitable that we were to go into partnership together with a workshop to be later called “4x4 DNA” (DASH & Allan).
Thank you 4x4 DNA Steve Allan who worked a miracle to get this done in a day, I just love it! Sharon and Marion are amazing and so helpful!

Every aspect of the 4X4 DNA / Dash OffRoad / Steve Allan's Mechanical experience has been brilliant - from initial advice through to the purchase, install and pick-up. It's our first workshop experience but I would take any vehicle there again - but if it's a Y62 it's an absolute no-brainer! The passion for quality service, products and work is obvious - and really refreshing! Now for Stage 2 ...

What I have learnt so far regarding the y62 from these guys in the last couple of months is far more then I have since buying my Patrol back in 2016. Looking forward to Steve and his team working on my car in 2 weeks, and thanks to David for his insight on the suspension and exhaust I’m having done. Looking forward to your 2” David Dash springs going on. Keep it up guy’s you are on a winner with 4x4 DNA.
