We wanted to be a bit unique here at Gosnells Nissan, obviously Y62 Patrols & their genuine accessories list is pretty minimal, we wanted to showcase what you can do with a Y62. Most clients that come in are going to do a build similar to this so its good to partner up with a company that allows us to showcase what they've got to offer & what we've got to offer in regards to the products

Warrens 'Hulk SMasH'
Warren came to 4x4 DNA Adelaide for a personalized and functional Y62 build. Although he lives in the Northern Territory, he ordered the Y62 Patrol from a local Adelaide Nissan dealer. We collaborated closely, discussing bar work, electrical, communications, lighting, power enhancements, GVM, and aesthetics.

To handle the extra weight and generous speed limits in the Northern Territory, we installed a Harrop 2300 supercharger, a PDC snorkel, and a DASH SAMURAI cat-back exhaust, adding 100kW to the wheels.
The DASH Predator front bar was chosen for its lightweight and winch compatibility. The front end is equipped with twin fog lights, Stedispot lights with green accents, and a Laserlamp 36” Linear light bar under the roof rack. Green accents were a key aesthetic choice, applied wherever possible and sent to the painter for a unique look. The electrical setup includes a DCS80 lithium start battery paired with a DASH120 slimline battery, providing 200ah with 16ah reserved for starting. Accessories are controlled by an 8-gang switch and a Safiery switch for tailgate and roof rack lighting. The DASH battery strap gives the engine bay a clean appearance. To accommodate six seats, we installed a DASH modular false floor and fridge cabinet, with a 2000W inverter hidden beneath. This setup includes a stainless steel slide-out table and induction cooker powered by a certified GPO in the rear quarter panel. A color-coded Raslarr rear bar was fitted to improve the departure angle and hold extra water in jerry cans, as the larger tyres no longer fit in the factory position. An EC Offroad 12.3” stereo and cluster were added for a modern feel and integration with Android/Apple CarPlay. |
This one was quite a special build for us at 4x4 DNA Adelaide. The theme was to be “HULK SMASH”, a Y62 that had everything, but over sized, over powered and not to be subtle. This was Warrens dream and we thank him for trusting us and the team with this build.

All the way from NSW Stuart Gowan drove down to have the 4x4 DNA Adelaide team build his dream Y62 Patrol.

Thanks to you all at 4x4 DNA. I am absolutely blown away with the build quality. I have a long drive this weekend back to Sydney that I am so looking forward to. The new wheels and tyres will finish it off perfectly when I get back.
